Séverine Vuilleumier is a full Professor of Environmental Health at the University of Applied Sciences and Arts Western Switzerland (HES-SO), La Source.
She has obtained a Master in Environmental Sciences and a PhD in Sciences from the EPFL. Then through postdoctoral positions, she moved into Biology and Genetics. With the support of the Swiss National foundation she obtained career grants to develop research at the interface of Biology and Medicine. She is now working on the latter field since 2017. She is also developing teaching in the field of Environmental Health, in particular continuing education for health professionals.
