Daniel Hohl, MD, PhD

In 1981, Daniel Hohl received his M.D. and in 1983 his doctoral degree with a thesis in pathology from the University of Zurich. From 1985-1990, he was a resident in Dermatology Clinics at the University of Zurich spending over 2 years as a sabbatical at the Dermatology Branch at NCI, NIH in Bethesda, Maryland and at the Baylor College in Houston, Texas. In 1990, he obtained the Swiss Board Certificate in Dermatology and Venereology FMH. After 12 years at the CHUV Hospital in Lausanne, he went in 2013 on a sabbatical in Paris at the “Hôpital Necker Enfants Malades” and “Hôpital St. Louis”. He was President of the MD-PhD Commission FBM, UNIL and EPFL, President of the European Society of Pediatric Dermatology and EADV Board Director. He is President of the Swiss Society of Dermatology and Venereology, and President of the Statutes Committee of the EADV. He is an Honorary Member of the French and Serbian Societies of Dermatology, Honorary Professor at FBM UNIL and was a Hurwitz Memorial Lecturer for Pediatric Dermatology.
